Finally! Halloween Decor!
Ok....so I have been ready for Halloween since the beginning of September...but I have been so busy with doing my Halloween craft night, and Super Saturday's for different wards, along with the one I am throwing, that I am just now getting my pics up! Here's what I've done!
Countdown blocks....notice how the countdown was on day 40...haha! We also made these for my Halloween craft night!
I made this Enchanting Spells tile years ago, back when I got my vinyl machine!
Trick or Treat sign... we made these for my Halloween craft night as well!
I covered pic frames in spiderwebs and spiders!
Here is my holiday decor shelf!
These topiaries are from the 123 topiaries I made a while back...I just took out the number 2!
I made this using a plate from dollar tree!
I designed some Halloween subway art!
Here are my seasonal blocks all done up for Halloween!
I got this idea from House of Smiths...I LOVE that blog!!!
The crow, moss, and skulls are from dollar tree! The bird cage held wedding cards from our wedding, and the "boo" I got from the dollar section at JoAnns last year!
My dining room... I either made or purchased everything seen at Thai Pan or The Gatehouse in past visits to Utah!
This glass block says trick or treat...it's hard to see in the pic!
And my favorite of all....the wreaths with ribbons and postcards! Purchased at The Gatehouse...oh how I wish there was one here in Vegas!
I linked up to Today's Creative Blog!

She's Going to Pop Baby Shower
Last Saturday I had the opportunity to help throw a baby shower for Jacalyn, a good friend of mine. I was on decoration and invitation duty! Here's some pics of how I did the shower!
These are the invites that I made with my Stampin' Up digital scrapbooking program....I also took the pictures....

We decided to go for the "She's going to Pop" theme....so all foods were basically candy that involved the word POP! We also had pop corn of course and popcorn chicken and jalapeno poppers! Some of the vases were from the dollar store, and some I already had...I just added some cute ribbon! We found the cute buckets and bags at Hobby Lobby....I did the vinyl lettering on the buckets!
Here's the banner that I made with my cricut...I love making banners!!!
There were some maternity pictures to share....frames from Hobby Lobby
I made these little decorations using dollar store frames, vinyl, A Child's Year cricut cartridge, and some scrapbook paper.
I covered the water bottles with scrapbook paper for extra cuteness! Again...Hobby Lobby buckets!
Mmm...blow pops and lollipops!
Can we say sugar high!
I made tissue poms for the party! You can see how to make them here! She used 8 pieces, I used 12....and cute ribbon! They literally only take 5-10 minutes a piece! How cute are these?!
more tissue poms!
A girl we went to high school with, Krysten made these AMAZING cake pops....they were too cute to eat...but they were AMAZING in taste!
We also had jones soda pop...pink and green! Oh and there's Otter Pops as well! There were also Popsicles in a cooler!

Kids Room Revealed
When I first found out I was pregnant with my son Landon, I decided to go neutral when it came to bedding, because we knew that most likely our kids would be sharing a room. I originally went with black and cream french toile, then I accented with blue. My original plan was: add pink when I find out I'm having a little girl...so originally thats what I did! I went to DI, and I also found old frames lying around the house....I just painted some pink and blue picture frames. I liked it at first...but then I thought it was kind of girly considering Landon. So....I changed it....again...I was inspired by some vintage flash cards that I bought at Thanksgiving point a few years ago.

I was also inspired by the vintage toys that target now carries....that's what's on the shelves in the pic above...Paul and I made those shelves by the way....only $8 each!
We decided to go with a bunk bed for Landon's bed...he of course is on the bottom...I lucked out and was able to get the same bedding that we bought for the crib when Landon was a baby.
I bought these vintage flash cards off of etsy and hung them with jute and clothespins....I took apart the clothespins and painted them....Love it!
This is above the closet
We needed a little extra storage, so I bought these metal paint buckets at Lowe's...they work great and have that vintage look I was going for!
