Finally! Halloween Decor!

Ok....so I have been ready for Halloween since the beginning of September...but I have been so busy with doing my Halloween craft night, and Super Saturday's for different wards, along with the one I am throwing, that I am just now getting my pics up! Here's what I've done!

Countdown blocks....notice how the countdown was on day 40...haha! We also made these for my Halloween craft night!
I made this Enchanting Spells tile years ago, back when I got my vinyl machine!
Trick or Treat sign... we made these for my Halloween craft night as well!
I covered pic frames in spiderwebs and spiders!
Here is my holiday decor shelf!
These topiaries are from the 123 topiaries I made a while back...I just took out the number 2!
I made this using a plate from dollar tree!
I designed some Halloween subway art!
Here are my seasonal blocks all done up for Halloween!
I got this idea from House of Smiths...I LOVE that blog!!!
The crow, moss, and skulls are from dollar tree! The bird cage held wedding cards from our wedding, and the "boo" I got from the dollar section at JoAnns last year!
My dining room... I either made or purchased everything seen at Thai Pan or The Gatehouse in past visits to Utah!
This glass block says trick or treat...it's hard to see in the pic!
And my favorite of all....the wreaths with ribbons and postcards! Purchased at The Gatehouse...oh how I wish there was one here in Vegas!
Hope ya like & sorry it's sooo late! If you'd like to purchase any of the vinyl contact me at laniercreations@gmail.com!

She's Going to Pop Baby Shower

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to help throw a baby shower for Jacalyn, a good friend of mine. I was on decoration and invitation duty! Here's some pics of how I did the shower!

These are the invites that I made with my Stampin' Up digital scrapbooking program....I also took the pictures....
We decided to go for the "She's going to Pop" theme....so all foods were basically candy that involved the word POP! We also had pop corn of course and popcorn chicken and jalapeno poppers! Some of the vases were from the dollar store, and some I already had...I just added some cute ribbon! We found the cute buckets and bags at Hobby Lobby....I did the vinyl lettering on the buckets!
Here's the banner that I made with my cricut...I love making banners!!!
There were some maternity pictures to share....frames from Hobby Lobby
I made these little decorations using dollar store frames, vinyl, A Child's Year cricut cartridge, and some scrapbook paper.
I covered the water bottles with scrapbook paper for extra cuteness! Again...Hobby Lobby buckets!
Mmm...blow pops and lollipops!
Can we say sugar high!
I made tissue poms for the party! You can see how to make them here! She used 8 pieces, I used 12....and cute ribbon! They literally only take 5-10 minutes a piece! How cute are these?!
more tissue poms!
A girl we went to high school with, Krysten made these AMAZING cake pops....they were too cute to eat...but they were AMAZING in taste!
We also had jones soda pop...pink and green! Oh and there's Otter Pops as well! There were also Popsicles in a cooler!
Hope this gave you a cute baby shower idea=) I've linked up to Today's Creative Blog!

Monogram and Photo Wall

A while back I saw this idea on a craft blog and I can't remember what blog....I loved it so much I had to do it in my home! Sadly I don't have near as much wall space as I'd like for this...but oh well! All you do is buy lots of letters at Hobby Lobby, JoAnns, Michaels....anywhere you see them....paint them or cover them with scrapbook paper and mod podge...and hang it on your wall! Throw in pictures too! Note: be sure to lay out your design before you place it on the wall to be sure you have enough space....plus it makes the hanging process much easier...as you can see I still need to add a few more pics...I've got gaps!

Dollar Store Frames

I love buying frames! Especially from the dollar store! Here are a few crafts I created using 8.5x11 frames!

I made these "EAT" frames for my kitchen...this pic isn't quite the greatest...it was taken from a weird angle.
I had craft night at my house this week and we made menu boards....the girls had the option of burlap or scrapbook paper for a background. One girl chose scrapbook paper so she could change it out for different seasons and holidays...there's a good idea! The girls also had the option to use magnets or ribbon for hanging purposes!
We also made these welcome signs at craft night....mine is hanging right when you walk into our home...I hate shoes on the carpet...especially with little ones moving around!
I made this "EAT" sign for my friends new house...for the background I used fabric...cute huh?!

My Craft Room...The Tour... except the closet...it's currently VERY unorganized!

Well it has been a while since I've posted on here! As most of you know, we just had our 2nd child on June 4. Her name is Hannity and she is absolutely perfect! I thought that for my first post back I'd give a tour of my craft room! This is nowhere near my dream craft room...but considering our living circumstances aka the fact that my husband is in Medical school and we are way in debt from that, this room works perfectly! So here's the tour!

Here is my table with lots of frequently used products...ink pads, embellishments, pens, tape...the clipboard is where I keep track of current orders, and the green pic in the frame is a wipe off board for notes.
This is my chair...my hubby covered an old office chair for me!
I have some chalkboard vinyl in here to keep my son busy when I'm crafting...see his picture...he thinks he drew a horse....what a cutie!
My book shelf holds lots of fun things...ribbons, craft books, my cricut expression and cuttlebug, paint brushes, punches, embossing stuff...all kinds of craft goodies =)

I finally came up with a way to organized my pre printed vinyl...it's all hanging up!
Here's a close up of the cute sign I made!
I have these signs hanging above my vinyl machine, and as you can see my vinyl rack on the right hand side.
My vinyl machine =)
I covered these cans for some cute craft room storage!
They need a better home but this works for now! It's hard to believe that when I first got married 5 years ago I only had about half of one of these storage things full of crafts...lol...now I have all of this...plus 4 more in the closet that hold paints, paper and fabrics! I know...I'm bad!
A sign in my craft room =)
This vinyl is above my closet that holds paper, paints, fabric, wrapping paper, my sewing machine and serger....I can't really sew (they were gifts from my mother in law) but my hubby can!
These buttons are above my door!
My table again!
My happy place =) Aah!!!!

Hairbow Holders

It is the season for little girls to be born! I recently came up with this cute little idea to hold hairbows....unfortunately with my little girl on the way I went too overboard with purchasing and buying bows, these don't work for me...I'll have to come up with something else, or use a longer board so I'll have more space for bows! These signs are 6x12.

This one was an order that I got...I just love the pink and brown!!!
This is the first sign I made....I made it as a gift for my cousin....I love the pink and black too!!!
I made some bows, and some I purchased from friends!

I threw in some headbands and beanies too!

If you are interested in purchasing one of these, please contact me and let me know what colors you would like! Cost $15...bows not included.
