In My Laundry Room

I just recently, today to be exact, made some Laundry Room decor! My Laundry Room was very much in need of being decorated!

Wash. Dry. Fold. Repeat. on the wall. Isn't my ironing board cover cute!? I got it here. I also found this cute bucket at Lowe's and decided to use is as a trash can.

To make the bucket cute, I decided to put the word "trash" on it! Haha! It's the perfect size for Laundry Room Trash!

I made this sign.

This is on the wall above where the Laundry baskets go! The Laundry baskets are far too full, I am embarrassed to show them in the picture!

I found theses Jars at Target and Wal-mart. And labled them with vinyl, Dryer Sheets, Laundry Soap, and Oxi Clean!

Here's a view from a different angle. The metal bucket in the back was also purchased at Lowe's. It is holding my bleach, starch, and stain removers!

Chicken Breasts N' Wine

This is a family favorite recipe!

For the Chicken:
-4 chicken Breasts, sliced (should be size of chicken tenders)
-Pepper
-Poultry Seasoning
-Lemon Juice

Lightly cover chicken in poultry seasoning and pepper. Place in a dish, or ziplock bag. Pour in a desired amount of lemon juice (I usually use about a cup) Marinade over night. When you are ready to cook dinner, lightly brown the chicken.

For the sauce:
-4 tbs. butter
-4 tbs. flour
-3 cups water
-5 boullion cubes
-1 cup of white wine, or white cooking wine
-2 bay leafs

Directions: PREHEAT OVEN TO 350
Melt butter in a sauce pan, once butter is melted, stir in flour, and make a thick paste. Add water and boullion cubes. Cook about 5 minutes until boullion cubes are softened. Then add wine. Let sauce thicken.

Meanwhile, brown chicken.

Once sauce and chicken are ready, place in a 9x13 baking dish. Crush bay leaves and sprinkle across the top. Cover with foil and cook for 1 hour.
Serve with homestyle noodles.
Serves 4-6 (I like to double the sauce)

Headbands and Hair Clips

Lately I have been really in to making hair bows and clips. My personal favorite way is to wear them with a low side ponytail. These clips also look cute on infant headbands. I have been working on infant hair clips as well, pictures will be here soon...my baby model isn't coming until next week=)

Photo Wall

I have tons of random frames, so I decided to make this photo wall in my room. I think it looks better in person, but I really like it!

In the Kitchen

Paul and I just moved into a new place, so I've been doing some new kitchen crafts! Here they are!

This is a chalkboard I made to show what we are eating for dinner...that way there is no questions asked!

There is a wall in our kitchen that is completely empty, with no cabinets or anything, so I placed this saying there.
Well over a year ago I was searching for a cute Olive Oil container. No luck! I went everywhere, literally! The best I came up with was just a clear glass one from wal-mart. A few weeks ago, I was thinking of a way to make it cute...then a light bulb went off in my head...vinyl! Here's how that turned out!

I love toile print, so I made this recipe box. My other ones were full, so I needed a new one! I still have yet to make cute recipe cards and such for this one!
I painted this jumbo clothes pin and covered it with paper to hold my recipes up for me when I'm cooking.
Of course I needed some new magnets.
I didn't make these...but they were in storage for over 7 months, and I missed them! Haha! I found these at the Williams-Sonoma outlet for $5 a piece, they were originally $20...that was over a year ago, and I'm still proud of my great deal!
I didn't make this either! I bought this at a Craft show in Boulder City...I thought it was really cute! I made toile magnets to match!

Super Saturday Idea!

This is something I thought of for a Super Saturday project. It's a Christmas countdown, on a cookie sheet. This project is fast and cheap! I bought these cookie sheets at a local dollar store. The Christmas tree vinyl is $3.50 and the saying is $1...a total of $5.50 to make...not including the magnet. To do the magnet, I just used a tacky glue, and glued it to a flat marble. Once that dries, I used a glue gun to glue on the magnet!

Flash Cards

I am now selling these flash cards in my etsy shop! Go here if you are interested and would like to see more pics! These are perfect for teaching your little ones their ABC's! I have 2 sets of these currently made and ready to ship, or deliver! They are $12. If you would like, I can also customize, and do different colors.

Magnet Board

Are you in need of a magnet board? Here's an idea: 1. Buy a picture frame 2. Buy sheet metal and cut it to fit the frame 3. Cover it with scrapbook paper and mod podge, or leave it blank! This is one that I made to go in my room.
This is a cute card that I made at a card class a while back...just thought I'd share it!
